· Playful gallery spaces
Discover the wild and wonderful world of children's author and illustrator John Burningham this summer. Over 60 illustrations fill Mottisfont's playful gallery spaces, with interactive fun that will immerse families in favourite stories including Mr Gumpy, Borka the Featherless Goose, Avocado Baby and Oi! Get Off Our Train!
· A 'magic bed' and snuggly reading zones
There are comfy reading zones to snuggle into with a book, and stories are brought
to life with colourful blown-up scenes for family photos plus dressing up inspiration.
Look out for the life-size 'magic' bed that transports imaginations to far away worlds,
inspired by Burningham's classic story The Magic Bed.
· Meet characters on a themed activity trail
Outside, an energetic activity trail introduces families to more characters, with games
and challenges to complete. Play a game of Would You Rather and step bravely onto
our pirate ship, just like Shirley does in 'Come Away From the Water, Shirley'. £3 per
trail.
