Come and take a tour inside Durham University’s archaeological dig, and stand in the ruins of the lost house of the man who blew up Auckland Palace's medieval chapel - Sir Arthur Haselrig! 

To get stuck in with our ‘Open Archaeology’ family activities come along on 25-27 July, 8-10 August or 22-24 August to get your hands on some of the objects we’ve dug up.
