Eating and shopping: large restaurant serving breakfast, lunch, daily specials and Sunday dinner. Studley and abbey tea-rooms in spectacular settings. Large visitor centre shop selling homeware, garden ware, plants, books and artisan products. Smaller shop at Studley entrance. Picnics welcome.
Making the most of your day: Indoors in Porter’s Lodge you can uncover the story of the monks who founded the abbey, or see the mill created by these skilful masters of machinery. You can explore the opulent interior of St Mary’s Church. Fountains Hall has changing art exhibitions.

Outdoors: The hidden herb garden beside the river Skell is waiting to be found. Nature walks and tours guide you through the estate and its history. You can clamber, swing and slide in the playground or find a geocache.
Dogs: welcome on leads.
A complimentary minibus service is provided for less mobile visitors and runs between the three entry points on a regular basis. Battery cars can also be hired – please ring in advance to check availability.
