Firle Place has been the home of the Gage family for over 500 years. Set at the foot of the Sussex Downs within its own parkland, this unique house, originally Tudor, is built of Caen stone and was substantially remodelled in the 18th century.
The house contains an exemplary collection of Old Master paintings, fine English and European furniture and an impressive collection of Sevres porcelain.
Incorporating several villages and farms spread over rolling hills, the Firle Estate, in the heart of the magnificent South Downs National Park, is just 60 miles from London
Events and wedding receptions can be held in the parkland throughout the year or in the Georgian Riding School from April to October.
