House of Bruce, or Clan Bruce, was a royal house in the 14th century that produced two Scottish kings and one disputed Irish King. The House of Bruce produced one of the best known Scottish kings.
Over the years, the clan have owned a number of Scottish castles and strongholds including Lochleven Castle and Culross Palace.
The Clan still exists today, with the 11th Earl of Elgin as Clan Chief.
