John Davies Gallery's Spring exhibition presents modern and contemporary works by some of Britain's most prestigious artists. Comprising 100+ works which share a modernist sensibility, Contemporary Modernist Painters is a vibrant exhibition of representational, semi-abstract and distinctly abstract paintings exploring a range of subjects, with a notable attention to landscape.
The exhibition is complimented by the gallery's beautiful Cotswolds location in a 3000 sq ft former dairy in Moreton-in-Marsh, easily located just off the high street. Included in Country Life magazine's selection of the 'best regional art galleries in Britain' 2023, John Davies Gallery has been one of the Cotswolds' flagships for modern and contemporary art for over 40 years.
Exhibiting Artists: Jerry Browning, Neil Canning, Julia Chance, Nick Heap, Ruth Philo, Andrew Watt, Marc Yeats, David Prentice and David Tress.
Exhibition Opening Hours:
Open Tuesday-Friday 10.30am-4.30pm and Saturdays 11am-4pm
