This secluded luxury retreat lies in the heart of Helmsley in North Yorkshire. Surrounded by countryside, the award-winning hotel and spa is hidden away so you can relax, unwind and indulge. Cosy yet contemporary and with artwork to rival a gallery. Outdoors the hotel boasts a unique Mediterranean terrace and outdoor pool while indoors open fires and snugs make guests feel welcome all year round. Guests can choose from 33 individually designed bedrooms and suites. Each has its own unique décor, style and character and features Egyptian cotton sheets, soft exquisite duck down duvets and/or cotton blankets if you prefer. Bathrooms are fitted with speakers to filter ambient background music and furnished with luxurious Anne Sémonin toiletries.

The sky lit restaurant is sumptuously decorated in a warm and elegant colour palette designed to be welcoming all year round. The modern British menu draws heavily upon the local landscape regularly featuring rich Yorkshire game and fresh North Sea fish and seafood, with two AA rosettes the restaurant is renowned for both it’s a la carte and signature tasting menus. To complement the food there is a well-stocked cellar and an extensive selection of after dinner wines and liqueurs.

Located in the heart of North Yorkshire in the traditional market town of Helmsley, guests are welcomed from all over the world who have simply come to get away from it all or to sample the famous Yorkshire hospitality.

Verbena Spa - award top 5 bubbles by the Good Spa Guide. The luxury spa offers Elemis products, seven treatment rooms, one double treatment room, saunarium, aromotherapy room, salt vapour room, monsoon shower, rasul, foot spa, ice cave, outdoor hot tub and heated pool. The Juice Bar and Spa-tisserie has floor to ceiling glass doors opening onto a south facing terrace.
